AMERICA FIRST GENERATION
"ASK NOT WHAT YOUR COUNTRY CAN DO FOR YOU,
ASK WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR YOUR COUNTRY." - JFK
We Must Unite the Small Business Community
America has long been the land of opportunity for countless generations of immigrants who came here to build a better life.
And now, we have to stand together to keep that American Dream alive.
Together, we can work to reduce government waste, fraud and abuse and lower unfair taxes and regulations so Texans can keep more of their own hard-earned money.
The stature of our homeland is no more than the measure of ourselves. Our job is to keep her free. Our will is to keep the torch of freedom burning for all. – John Paul Jones
Who is America First Generation?
We are a united group of immigrant and first-generation entrepreneurs working together to create positive change in our local government.
Our core purpose is to REMOVE the bureaucratic obstacles that are eroding our free-market system and preventing entrepreneurs from pursuing their passions.
We believe we all have a political duty to fulfill and we have answered that call.
We Believe
Everyone Is Valuable
We believe each of us has a role to play in solving our community’s problems.
And every person has a unique set of skills and abilities to contribute in their own way.
In order to influence our local government, we must be active in the trenches and take up our political duty.
Local Solutions
We believe in solving the problems at the local level first.
By empowering a diversity of people closest to the problems themselves, we often find the best solutions
And when we rise up and stand boldly together, we can accomplish great things.
Common Ground
Finding common ground is the foundation for our coordinated action.
We join forces where we agree, so that we can build trust and accomplish our goals much faster.
With unity, we find the strength and support to challenge reckless spending and bureaucratic red tape.
Our Focus
Our policy efforts are focused on reforming tax laws and reducing bureaucratic regulations that hurt entrepreneurs and small businesses in our Texas counties.
Our human focus is on first-generation and immigrant families who share our views.
Countless immigrants have launched their personal success stories in the U.S. and their stories inspire not only their children and grandchildren – but they uphold the values that made the U.S. a beacon for talent and free markets.
What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives everything its value. – Thomas Paine
“Achieving and conserving a free society requires courage to think, to talk, and to act - especially when it is easier to do nothing.”
- Ken Schoolland
